From 1968 to 1974 he taught Visual Design in S. Vicente. In 1976 he joined the group of teachers who form the Resistance Cooperative. In 1978 participates in the creation of the National Center of Handicrafts where he teaches weaving, tapestry and batik.
In 1978 he created the Galeria Azul + Azul = Verde with Luisa Queirós in S. Vicente.
