He was born in São Vicente. Since childhood he discovered his vocation for the plastic arts and today makes this activity his livelihood. He graduated in screen printing and pottery at Atelier Mar, in São Vicente.
However, life took him to other directions and the opportunity for his first job arose in Cabnave, Cape Verde's naval shipyards, in São Vicente. For twelve years he worked in this institution, taking advantage of his experience to deepen his knowledge but never gave up his dream: the plastic arts.
He does serigraphy, graphics, decoration and low reliefs in cement.
