Toy Vieira
- músico
- compositor
After a 30-year career as a stage and studio musician, in 2013 Toy Vieira released his first solo album, Gratidão, an instrumental record with piano and guitar solos. At the age of 20, he began his professional life, since, at the same time as Tito Paris, he was called up in 1982 in São Vicente to join the Voz de Cabo Verde, in Lisbon.
It was in the early 1990s that his production as a composer began to be recorded, initially by Vaiss — with three themes in his first album — and then by Djozinha, with Coraj'ermum, a composition that will be re-recorded successively. He wrote the theme that gives title to the CD that is the starting point of Tito Paris' career as a solo performer, Dança ma mi criola.
