Coming from a family of musicians, she has in the figure of Ildo Lobo its greatest exponent, Ritinha from very early on began singing. In 2012 she released her first solo CD entitled "Jóia Creola". In Portugal she was also part of the group Muxima, a project to honour the Angolan group Duo Ouro Negro, in addition to singing alongside great Cape Verdean voices such as Cesária Évora, Bana and Tito Paris.
