Paulo Jorge Pinto Filipe de Sousa better known as Tutu, was born in São Vicente in 1974. In 2002 he attended a workshop on Senegalese Art, Praia, Cape Verde and in 1994 he took a course on Electronic Publishing for Graphic Arts, Lisbon.
He began his artistic work in 1990. He does painting, sculpture, tinned works, plaster and wood. He has a graphic company and works in advertising.
