André Corsino Tolentino, born in Santo Antão, PhD from the University of Lisbon, Master from the University of Minnesota, retired Ambassador, University Professor, corresponding partner of the Lisbon Academy of Sciences, has published several works.
He was Minister of Education, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Ambassador of Cape Verde in several countries, namely in Portugal.
He was a consultant to the World Bank and promoter of the Association of Portuguese Language Universities (AULP) and the West Africa Institute (IAO).
